I traveled from California after a guy who I knew from the gym shared his experience with me. I knew how he looked before the transplant because he asked me about my previous hair transplant as well. So I saw his real life “before” photos. Just from seeing him later I could tell she did an amazing job! She covered his previous transplant scar that he had from another place and that was a personal concern I had of my own was my own scar from FUT being done years ago at another place. I always heard about hair transplants being a big business in Turkey, but I did not want to travel from California to a place that I wasn’t sure of. This made me confident in booking my flight and making my appointment! The doctor even offered the hotel and transfer service for a small amount more, that was absolutely worth it and much less than it would have cost otherwise and was a very nice hotel. She was accommodating and informative every step of the way and even though I only knew English, she made sure that we communicated efficiently and understood each other fully. Very professional and friendly and I cannot wait to see my results! My “before” photo was taken at the hotel in Istanbul before the procedure that she just did. Nothing but plenty of good to say about her and her entire team and the work they have done!!!

I went to Instambul to have a hair transplant with Dr. Perihan and it overpass my expectatives.
She and her staff were really kind, responsive and always making sure my needs were being considered and that I was confortable, despite the language barrier.
The procedure in my case lasted 8 hours and they drove me to hotel afterwards. Next day I was able to go to downtown to see some of the touristic spots of the city, with lot of care of course.
I am really happy with it so far. I cannot say the surgery was 100 % pleasant but It wasn't painful, neither uncomfortable. I slept over few hours even.
Make sure to have botton shirts on your visit since it helps to get along changing on the next few days after surgery.
The photos correspond to a photo with Dr. Perihan, a day after the procedure, 6 days after the procedure and minutes before the procedure.
1 year update: I am very happy with the results my hair looks amazing and natural. I will be going for a 2nd procesudre to improve the crown area but it really surpassed my expectatives
